Hunting trip information
Party size, validity & observer policy
- Donations are valid for the seasons designated by Wildest International Safaris (WIS).
- Packages are not photo safaris, We are a hunting company.
- Observers cannot replace a hunter, but may join the trip for an additional fee (see below).
Non-Hunter (Observer) Fees (subject to availability)
- Argentina: US $2,500 ( US $1,000 deposit at booking)
- Namibia: US $2,000 ( US $500 deposit at booking)
- South Africa: US $2,000 ( US $500 deposit at booking)
Deposits & Payments
Trophy-Fee Deposits
A trophy-fee deposit is required to reserve dates. Once WIS receives the deposit, the outfitter blocks your dates. Because space is limited, this deposit confirms your commitment. 100% of the deposit is credited to your trophy-fee bill at the end of the hunt.Deposit amounts (per hunter):
- Argentina – US $2,000
- Australia – US $4,500
- Namibia – US $1,500
- South Africa – US $1,500
Secondary deposit
A second deposit is due one year before arrival. It is paid directly to the outfitter and is credited 100% to your final trophy-fee invoice. Please pay on time to avoid losing your reserved dates.All hunt deposits can be moved to new dates if a reschedule* occurs or a replacement hunter is named. Deposits cannot be reassigned to other hunters when someone in the original group is a no-show. Deposits are non-refundable if a hunter cancels without rescheduling.*See Rescheduling Fees below.
Booking & payment milestones
- Reserve dates within 90 days of winning your package.
- Hunter deposits and any non-hunter fees are required to confirm your reservation and are non-refundable and not assignable to other participants in your group.
- A hunter or non-hunter who doesn’t show on arrival day forfeits all deposits/fees.
- All trophy-fee deposits apply 100% to your trophy-fee bill at the end of your hunt.
- Any remaining trophy fees are due on the last day of the hunt.
Hunt & Rescheduling Policies
Animal Harvest Minimums (charity auction hunts)
- Argentina: Two (2) animals, with one being a Red Stag or Water Buffalo (per the Argentina trophy-fee sheet).
- Australia: One (1) animal, being a Water Buffalo (per the Australia trophy-fee sheet).
- South Africa: Two (2) animals of your choice (per the South Africa trophy-fee sheet).
- Namibia: Two (2) animals of your choice (per the South Africa trophy-fee sheet).
Hunters who do not meet the minimums may be charged a supplemental fee.
Rescheduling Fees & policy
Hunts are commonly booked 12–24 months in advance. When a reservation is canceled or shifted with less than 12 months’ notice, outfitters often cannot rebook those dates and still incur guide/lodge costs.
- You may reschedule one (1) time.
- Rescheduling fee: US $1,500 per guest (helps offset outfitter losses).
- If you cancel and do not intend to reschedule, all trophy-fee deposits and non-hunter fees are forfeited. We recommend binding trip-cancellation insurance to protect deposits and fees.
